I love this poem. Especially this line “ In the end we hope mortal outlasts immortal”

Thanks for reading it, Susan! That might be my favorite line too!

It's quite the conundrum....! We ARE on the cusp of a whole new/different world, yet you continue to create such mental adventures with your words, and I know you'll never stop doing this! You stimulate us! Thank you!

Information is so readily available now...which I love... (as compared to when I was a kid and all we had were encyclopedias and library books) yet I think there will still be so much that only WE MORTALS can do. At my age, I feel I have more choices than younger folk -- I can opt in or opt out, as I choose. I feel lucky about that!

Thanks for another poetic experience!

Bravo for making the claim on real rumination. I found that salvific.

You've taught me a word, Bridget!

What a wonderful reminder that all i have to do to outpace AI is to stand up and walk away from my computer and outside. Leaving the phone indoors, of course.

I’d like to say a few typos are my human trademark, but they are never intentional- but when I find the ones I missed, I don’t rush so fast to edit. This was a delicious read. Thanks.

Ha! That's right! I guess we will start to value and love our typos in a new way too! And thanks so much for reading, Rebecka! I love your work. xoxo
